Work Of Art Landscape

About Work Of Art Landscape

At four in the morning the trolley is still asleep in its shed and Washington Road belongs to the plows. Work Of Art Landscape is out in that hour, shouldering snow off driveways and front walks across Mount Lebanon while the porch lamps are the only light on the block. By the time anyone walks down to the platform for the first inbound car, the path is bare and the pavement is showing. In the green months the work turns to the lawns — mowing, edging, trimming the grass tight against the brick and stone fronts of the township's older streets. Two seasons, one habit: arrive early, leave it clean, go.
