Northern Lawns

About Northern Lawns

North Braddock climbs. Its streets stack up the hillside above the long bend of the Monongahela, and every yard here is a small terrace won back from the slope — narrow, bordered by brick and iron rail. Northern Lawns mows those terraces the way steep ground asks to be mowed: patiently, in short passes, with the trimmer run tight along the retaining walls and the edge cut clean against the sidewalk seam. By late afternoon, when the light comes sideways up the valley, the grass is level and the walk is swept. A hillside block of tidy front yards is its own kind of good news.
