Robb Hollow keeps its own weather. Down in the ravine the sun arrives late and leaves early, so what melts on a south-facing street can stay locked in glass on the shaded side of the hill. Blystone Tree and Landscape reads Mount Lebanon that way — slope by slope, knowing which drives ice over twice and which need only a pass and a scatter of salt. Winter mornings begin under bare oaks with the plow lights doing the work of a sun that hasn't cleared the ridge yet. The reward is a hollow street opened end to end while the frost is still holding on the branches.
