Chip Price Plowing

About Chip Price Plowing

Half of Moosic climbs, and a driveway that runs uphill off a side street is a different animal at three in the morning with four inches on it. Chip Price Plowing takes those on — pitched drives, tight turnarounds, hillside aprons — pushing snow where it can actually go and treating the surface so the second trip up isn't an adventure. Down on the flatter blocks it is lots and long entrances, cleared and cut back so the next storm has somewhere to put itself. The steps get shoveled by hand, because in this borough the steps are usually the hardest part. When the plow drops off the last drive and the sun comes up over the mountain, Moosic gets to go about its day.
