Serene Landscape Co.

About Serene Landscape Co.

There is a specific quiet in Moore Township at two in the morning after six inches have fallen — no traffic on 946, no wind, just the ridge standing dark behind the snow. Serene Landscape Co. moves through that hush with a plow and a spreader, opening driveways, scraping lots and treating the walks so somebody else's morning starts easy. The work is unglamorous and largely unseen; the evidence is the black stripe of pavement waiting at first light. Steps, aprons and the turn-in from the road matter as much as the long lane. Winter arrives hard at this end of Northampton County, and the answer is simply to be out in it early.
