Roberts Lawn Care

About Roberts Lawn Care

Montour Township lies in the low green country where Fishing Creek runs down to meet the North Branch of the Susquehanna, and by ten on a June morning the whole valley smells like cut hay. Roberts Lawn Care works that hour — mowing, trimming and edging lawns that back onto cornfields and creek bottom, keeping the line between kept ground and open field honest and clean. Spring and fall bring the cleanups: beds turned and mulched, winter's litter carried off, leaves gathered before the first hard frost pins them down. The ridges above Bloomsburg and Lightstreet hold the light late in the day, and a yard mowed in long even passes takes that light beautifully. It is plain work, done for the plain satisfaction of a lawn that looks cared for all the way from the road.
