Tot's Chops

About Tot's Chops

Snow finds the Mon Valley quietly and then all at once. Tot's Chops is out before the streetlights blink off, plowing driveways, clearing walkways and steps, and spreading salt on grades that do not forgive an untreated inch. In the green half of the year the same trucks carry mowers instead: cut, trim, edge, and haul away whatever the season drops on Monessen's tight little yards. It is plain work, done in the order the town needs it done. A shoveled path to the door before breakfast counts for something on a hill like this one.
