Thompson Excavating

About Thompson Excavating

The courthouse dome rises over Mercer's town square, and on a snowy January morning it seems to float above the white rooftops like a lantern. Winters hit this county seat hard, with snow sweeping across the open farmland around town and filling every drive and lot. Thompson Excavating spends the warm months moving earth, and when winter comes it turns to snow removal, clearing driveways, lots and access drives down to open ground. There is honest pride in a cleared lot glinting under a cold sunrise as the square comes to life.
