Lawn Care

About Lawn Care

October mornings in Menallen come with frost in the low fields and trucks already moving on the orchard roads. Lawn Care keeps yards through that turn of the year — the last mowings as growth slows, leaf cleanups off lawns and out of beds, trimming back the summer's edges, and a final cut that sets a property up for the cold. The work has a rhythm: mow, trim, edge, blow the clippings off the walk, and go. Small farms and roadside houses share the same road out here, and both look better for a lawn that stops exactly where it should. By the time the sun clears the ridge the frost is off, and the first yard of the day is already finished.
