About Stanford Scapes
December evenings, window candles and porch lights up and down the borough, and a fresh inch making the whole street look staged. Stanford Scapes clears the practical part of that picture in Mechanicsburg, plowing driveways and lots, shoveling front walks and steps, and salting where a shovel cannot reach the ice. Storms come through the Cumberland Valley in bunches this time of year, one behind another, and each one gets its own trip out. Doing it right means pushing snow where it will not slide back down or block the view of the street when you are backing out. Cleared and quiet, with the lights still burning.
