About Central Penn Landscaping

The Cumberland Valley lies between two long ridges and weather funnels down it end to end, which is why a winter afternoon here can go from rain to sleet to six inches before supper. Central Penn Landscaping meets that with plowing, shoveling and ice control for driveways, walkways and lots across Mechanicsburg and the townships around it. Every storm gets its own plan: where the piles go so they will not drift back, which slope needs salt first, which entrance has to be open by seven. South Mountain holds its snow long after the valley floor has let go, so the season here runs later than the calendar admits. The reward is plain and it never wears out — dark pavement, passable, under a sky still shaking out flurries.
