About Jon Mowris Tree Care LLC

Meadville lies downwind of Lake Erie, where winter arrives in long bands off the water, one after another, until the hills north of town are white to the fence tops. Jon Mowris Tree Care LLC works through those nights on snow removal — plowing driveways, clearing lots, taking walks down by shovel and spreading salt behind the blade. Most of it happens in the dark: a drive pushed wide to the road, an apron opened so a car does not need a running start, salt laid before anyone's boots hit the concrete. Storms here rarely announce themselves once and quit, so the route often runs twice before daylight. By the time headlights come on along the road, the way out is already open.
