About A-1 Services, LLC

Loyalhanna Creek runs cold through the gap here, and when the wind comes down off Chestnut Ridge it brings squalls that can whiten Route 30 in minutes. A-1 Services, LLC clears them — plowing driveways and lots around McChesneytown and Loyalhanna, opening walkways, coming back when the ridge sends another band through. Westmoreland County snow is often wet and heavy, quick to set up once traffic packs it down, so timing carries most of the work. A drive scraped clean, the snow pushed well off to the side, and a morning that goes ahead as planned: that is what a good night out there looks like. The ridge will do it again next week, and the truck will be ready.
