About Smiley's Outdoor Sales and Services

October in McCandless is the loud season — maples letting go all at once, gutters and lawns buried, the smell of wet leaves on every street off Babcock Boulevard. Smiley's Outdoor Sales and Services works straight through it, mowing until the grass finally quits, trimming and edging, hauling leaves and yard waste away in the fall cleanup. Then the first flurry sticks and the equipment changes over: plows, shovels, salt, early hours. Township winters run long enough that one driveway may get cleared twenty times before April, and the twentieth ought to look like the first. Serving McCandless Township and the nearby North Hills neighborhoods.
