About Barbish Landscaping

Long before Mars wakes, the little silver saucer on the town square sits alone under one streetlight while the snow comes down past it. That is the hour Barbish Landscaping is already moving — blade down, headlights combing Grand Avenue and the lanes that climb away from it. The work is plowing driveways and lots, cutting walkways clean down to the concrete, and laying salt so the first car of the morning backs out onto bare pavement. Butler County weather arrives sideways off the hills here, and a storm that starts as flurries at midnight can be eight inches by six. The reward is a simple one and it never gets old: a black driveway at sunrise, its edges squared, and a household that never had to think about it.
