Mow N Snow

About Mow N Snow

Wills Mountain stands over Manns Choice like a wall, and weather that has already crossed the Allegheny Front comes down off it with the squalls fully assembled. Mow N Snow plows through that, opening driveways, mountain lanes and lots along the Raystown Branch of the Juniata, up the hollows and out toward Schellsburg and Bedford. Mountain snow never falls evenly; it stacks on one bend and skips the next, so a route gets run twice whenever twice is what the road asks for. Walks are shoveled and slick spots are treated, because a valley morning at ten degrees forgives almost nothing. The payoff is an open lane running down to a river road under a sky that is finally starting to clear.
