About Fahnestock Excavating Inc.

Wind is the real weather in Rapho Township. It crosses the open corn stubble with nothing at all to slow it, and it will fill a lane back in within the hour after the sky has cleared. Fahnestock Excavating Inc. plows against that habit, opening farm lanes, driveways and business lots around Manheim and coming back again when the drifting says to come back. Snow gets pushed downwind and stacked where it will not blow home a second time. Walks get shoveled, slick spots get treated, and from the gate to the road the ground goes back to being ground. January out here is a long argument with the wind, and the trucks are on the winning side of it.
