Conestoga Land Clearing

About Conestoga Land Clearing

At three in the morning the limestone farmland north of Manheim holds its breath, and the only lights moving are plow lights. Conestoga Land Clearing works those hours, pushing snow off driveways and lots along the Route 72 corridor before the first dairy truck rolls through. Every pass is cut to the edge of the pavement and salted where the shade keeps ice honest, so a door opens onto an open drive and nothing more is asked of the morning. Lancaster County snow comes heavy and wet as often as it comes light, and both get moved the same way: early, and all the way down to the grass line. There is a real pleasure in a lot that looks like it was never covered at all.
