Jet-Black of Macungie

About Jet-Black of Macungie

At three in the morning a snowstorm over Macungie is nearly silent — just the hiss of flakes under the streetlights and, somewhere along Main Street, the scrape of a blade. Jet-Black of Macungie keeps those hours so nobody else has to: driveways opened, walks cut through to the door, lots pushed back to their edges before the first shift leaves the house. Storms come across the valley from the Blue Mountain side and can turn heavy in a hurry, so the second and third passes matter as much as the first. There is real pride in a clear drive at dawn with the snow still coming down around it. Snow removal in Macungie and the nearby Lehigh Valley townships.
