Lawn Daddy

About Lawn Daddy

Fayette County's high ground carries the National Road east toward Chestnut Ridge, and from the fields above Luzerne Township you can watch a July storm cross two counties before it ever reaches you. Lawn Daddy mows between those storms, in the sprint of a week when the grass gains an inch and everybody's yard wants cutting on the same day. The soil here is heavy, so a mower runs a little slower after rain and the lines come out truer for it. Late in the afternoon, with the ridge going blue behind a fresh-cut lawn and the trimmer finally quiet, the work looks like what it is. Luzerne Township, Brownsville, Uniontown, Republic and Newell are the towns covered.
