D & S Tree Service

About D & S Tree Service

First light in Lower Swatara comes up over the Susquehanna flats with a plane climbing out somewhere behind it and the Swatara running low and green toward the mouth. D & S Tree Service works this stretch of Dauphin County where old farm hedgerows have turned into street trees and the silver maples along the creek grow faster than anyone plans for. The days go to trimming crowns off rooflines, pruning out crossing limbs, and removing trees that have outgrown a corner lot; the nights after a storm go to clearing whatever the wind decided. Every job ends with the drive open, the brush chipped, and the lawn left flat enough to mow. It is plain, useful work in a plain, useful valley.
