About BB Landscaping

Winter comes up the Susquehanna, and by the time it reaches Lower Swatara the river fog has frozen onto every windshield between Middletown and Highspire. BB Landscaping runs snow through those nights — plowing driveways, cutting commercial lots open, clearing walks and laying salt where flat river ground turns to a single sheet of ice. Land this level does not shed weather so much as hold it, which makes the job about traction as much as depth. There is a plain satisfaction in a lot that has been squared off to the curb line while the sky is still black. Come morning the township goes about its business and never has to think about it.
