About Smart Property Management LLC

Three in the morning near Schantz Road, snow blowing sideways past the streetlights, and the lots have to be open by six. Snow removal is the whole business: plowing, clearing entrances and walkways, salting the aprons and the shaded corners where a wet afternoon becomes a sheet of ice by dark. Storms out this way get graded by wind as much as by inches, since there is little between the fields and the pavement to stop the drifting. The measure of a good night is a parking area with no tire tracks in it but the plow's, and a walk to the door that is simply, unremarkably there. Then the sky goes pale over the valley and it is finished.
