About Elysian Landscape Services LLC

Down by the Little Lehigh the evening takes its time — the meadow going gold, then gray, fireflies lifting out of the grass in ones and twos. Lawn work gets measured in hours like those: the last pass of the mower before the light quits, the trimmer worked around a stone wall, a sharp edge cut where turf meets bed. Cutting on a steady rhythm keeps a lawn thick, and thick turf is its own kind of lovely in a valley whose soil has been generous to people for a very long time. Yards from the creek meadows up toward the higher ground all get the same attention. Green, even, and finished — that is the entire ambition.
