About Sylvan Soul

The Perkiomen runs cool and brown-green through Lower Frederick, and the township takes its temper from that water and the trees leaning over it. Sylvan Soul keeps lawns here in step with the year, mowing at a height that lets a yard hold up through a dry August, trimming close around trunks and fence lines without scarring bark, and edging the walks so the grass stops exactly where it should. Beds are cleared out and given fresh mulch; shrubs that have closed in on a window are opened up so the house behind them can breathe again. In Zieglerville the mowing lines run long and the smell of cut grass carries all the way down to the creek bottom. Careful attention, repeated week after week, is the whole method.
