Shurina Brothers

About Shurina Brothers

From the higher streets in Lower Burrell you can see clear across the Allegheny to the far bank, and the view tells you the season before the calendar does — hazy green, then bare gray, then white. Shurina Brothers works the whole of that arc: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, mulch and cleanups at the turns of the year, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the valley locks up. Winter mornings start before the light and end with a thermos gone cold; June evenings end with the mower ticking as it cools and a yard that looks like somebody cared. Both are the same promise kept in different weather. Neighbors in this corner of Westmoreland County tend to know their crew by name, and that suits the work fine.
