Grass runs fast on this bench above the river, so the route comes back around before any yard gets ahead of itself. Hedges are shaped, beds are given fresh mulch, and the October leaf drop that buries the properties near Puckety Creek is raked out and hauled off. A cut lawn on a slope reads all the way from the road, which is reason enough to get the lines right.
