About Pro Landscape

The first flurries in Longswamp usually come across the open ground west of the village, a gray curtain drawn over the stubble fields, and then the whole township goes quiet underneath it. Pro Landscape answers that quiet with plowing and shoveling on the winding lanes of upper Berks County — driveways, private roads, parking areas, walks taken down to the pavement and salted where wind keeps piling the drifts back in. Long farm drives take patience; short steep ones take care; both get finished before the crew calls it. There is a plain kind of pride in standing at the road afterward and seeing clean black asphalt where an hour ago there was nothing but white. The storm gets its say, and then this crew gets the last word.
