Terrific Turf

About Terrific Turf

October mornings near the Neshaminy come up under a low fog that burns off by nine, and the lawns underneath it are ready for their best work of the year. Terrific Turf spends that window on the turf itself in and around Levittown — mowing lower, clearing leaves off the crown, feeding the fall growth and finishing the edges before the first hard frost sets. Grass repaired in autumn is what carries a yard through the following August, and that payoff is worth the early hours. Once the cold settles in, the work shifts to plowing driveways, clearing walks and salting the shaded stretches that ice first. Turf in the fall, pavement in the winter, same yards all year.
