About Yukon Facility Services

At three in the morning a commercial property in Wilkes-Barre is nothing but lit pavement and falling snow, and that is precisely when it needs to be cleared. Yukon Facility Services works the lots and walkways of the city's buildings and campuses — plowing drive lanes open, shoveling entryways and stairs, salting the crossings where people will step out of their cars at seven. Storms come in over the Poconos and lay down heavy, wet snow that sets like concrete if it is left alone, so timing matters more than anything else. There is a quiet pride in a building whose doors open on schedule and whose lot looks as though nothing happened at all overnight. Nobody notices the work when it is done right, and that is exactly the point.
