About M&E Lawn Care & Landscaping LLC

The Lehigh Gorge holds its own weather, and the wind that comes down it in November has an opinion about the season. M&E Lawn Care & Landscaping LLC catches the year on both sides of that turn — the final mow, the trim, the edge, the leaves pulled out of the beds — and then the plow trucks, the shovels, the salt on the walks. Snow in this part of Carbon County can be six inches at the river and a foot up on the ridge, and both have to be handled by morning. What people remember afterward is not the storm but the driveway, open and passable, as if the night had been reasonable all along. Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Weissport and Parryville are the territory.
