Fischer's services

About Fischer's services

Pohopoco Creek runs cold out of the hills toward the Lehigh, and on a humid July afternoon in Carbon County you can feel a storm building over the ridge an hour before it breaks. Fischer's services works that window, mowing, trimming and edging Lehighton properties between the heat and the rain, then blowing the walks and drives clean. There is a moment right after the mower shuts off, with the smell of it still hanging and the lines running dead straight to the fence, that makes the whole hot day worth having. Cleanups bracket the year at both ends, opening the season in spring and closing it once the leaves are down. Lehighton, Towamensing Township, Palmerton and Mahoning Township are the range.
