About Fikentscher Lawn Care LLC

Across the river in Weissport the June light comes late and low, laying long shadows over yards that were mown that afternoon. Fikentscher Lawn Care LLC works both sides of the Lehigh with the ordinary tools of a good summer — mower, trimmer, edger, blower — and the ordinary aim of leaving a place looking better than it did at nine that morning. Grass in this valley grows on river-bottom soil and rain, which are generous and relentless in equal measure, so the schedule matters as much as the effort. Spring cleanups clear the winter litter, autumn cleanups take the leaves, and in between the cut just keeps coming. The rounds run through Lehighton, Weissport, Parryville and Bowmanstown.
