About Stager Lawn Care and Landscaping

October turns the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail into a corridor of yellow, and the limestone fields either side go pale and stubbled once the harvest is off. That is Stager Lawn Care and Landscaping's busiest light — leaves down, mowers still running, cleanups moving yard to yard ahead of the first hard frost. Earlier in the year the same properties get mowing, trimming and edging on a regular turn, the sort of upkeep nobody notices until it stops. Lawns here take a real beating between July heat and February wind, so the job is as much about carrying a place through as making it look sharp on a Saturday. Come spring the rake comes out and the whole round begins over.
