Laureldale mowers

About Laureldale mowers

On a clear cold night in Laureldale you can look south past the rooftops and pick out the lit Pagoda on the ridge of Mount Penn, small and orange above Reading. Laureldale mowers is out under that same sky when storms come through, plowing driveways and parking areas, clearing walks, and spreading salt where ice sets up overnight. Berks County snow can turn to sleet and back again before dawn, which changes entirely how a lot has to be worked. The answer is usually more passes, earlier, with salt placed where it will actually do something. By first light the borough looks like it barely happened.
