About E and A Hauling Inc.

On a winter night in Laurel Run, the lights of Wilkes-Barre glitter far below while snow sweeps across the mountain in long white curtains. E and A Hauling Inc. goes to work in that weather, pushing back what the storm leaves on driveways and walkways and making the morning trip down the grade possible. Up here a storm sounds different, wind combing through bare oaks and drifts building where the forest begins. A hauling outfit understands moving a heavy load, and here the load is snow, scraped, pushed and banked until the pavement shows black again. The city below may sparkle, but the real glow is an open driveway under the porch lamp at five in the morning.
