Lush Lawns

About Lush Lawns

Latrobe sits on ground that never quite lies flat, and half the yards in town step down the hill in terraces, walls and short steep runs. Lush Lawns mows and trims that kind of property, cuts the edges along walks and drives, and hauls off clippings and leaves at the ends of the season. After a midsummer rain the whole slope turns an almost unreasonable green, and an afternoon takes a week of growth back off it. Sloped grass shows every missed pass, which is exactly why the passes get counted. Standing at the bottom of a hillside lawn that reads even the whole way up is the payoff.
