Lawn Works

About Lawn Works

The old theater marquee on Lansdowne Avenue has watched this borough go green and go white a hundred times over, and the streets around it still need the same two things done. Lawn Works handles them both: mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups while the grass is up, then snow plowing, walkway shoveling and salting once the storms track up the Delaware Valley. Winter here is fickle — rain, then a glaze of ice, then a heavy overnight fall — so the cold half of the year is as much about timing as about muscle. Come July it is the far simpler pleasure of a lawn cut even and finished clean at every edge. A property looked after in both directions never really has an off-season.
