About JC Family Lawn Care

The first mow of the year down toward Willow Street usually happens on some bright unreasonable afternoon in April, when the ground is still soft and the grass has gotten ahead of everybody. JC Family Lawn Care starts there and stays weekly from then on — cutting, edging along drives and walks, trimming the hedgerow ends and fence corners that give a yard away when they go shaggy. Southern Lancaster County has old properties with generous yards and long views over farm ground, and a lawn that size rewards a straight line. Through October the leaves come off in stages and the cleanups follow them. By the time the mower goes back in the shed, the place looks squared away rather than merely finished with.
