About Beatty Lawn & Landscapes LLC.

October comes up the Lititz Pike all at once — one cold night, and the maples let go over every lawn between Kissel Hill and the city line. Beatty Lawn & Landscapes LLC. spends that stretch with the blowers running and the trailers filling, hauling leaves off before they mat down and smother what took all summer to grow. Earlier in the year the same properties get the steady rhythm: weekly mowing, a clean edge at the walk, mulch laid dark around the beds, seed worked in where the shade thins the turf. There is something satisfying about a yard raked bare in November, the grass still faintly green, the whole thing set down neat for the cold. Come April it wakes up ready, and the cycle starts over on the same familiar ground.
