About Basement Gurus

Snow in Lancaster rarely leaves the way it arrived; it melts, runs downhill, and finds the lowest door on the property. Basement Gurus works snow removal with that gravity in mind — plowing drives, shoveling the walks, and clearing the stairwells and window wells where a plowed pile would otherwise send its meltwater. February here is a freeze-thaw town, warm at noon and glassy by five, and a set of below-grade steps can turn treacherous while nobody is watching. Salt goes down where the sun never reaches, and the piles get pushed away from the house rather than up against it. The result is a property that drains where it is supposed to and a doorway you can use in boots without thinking twice.
