About Ashbrooks landscaping

Fog lies down in the Conestoga bottomland most summer mornings and does not lift until the sun clears the ridge, which happens to be about the hour the first mower starts. Ashbrooks landscaping works those low green acres and the lawns that climb away from the water, mowing, trimming the fencelines, mulching beds back to a clean dark line. Lancaster County soil sits on limestone, and grass that gets seeded and fed here will repay you loudly by the second week of May. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when the stripes line up and the edge along the drive reads sharp as a ruled margin. Come November the same ground gets raked open again, leaves hauled off, the yard set down for winter.
