About Harmony Creek Contracting

Around Lakeville the roads bend with the shoreline of Lake Wallenpaupack, dipping into hemlock shade and climbing back out again, and the driveways run steep off them toward houses tucked in the trees. Harmony Creek Contracting plows those roads' worth of drives through the Wayne County winter — clearing the grades, opening turnarounds, shoveling the steps and decks, salting where the shade keeps a patch slick for days. On a still night after a storm the lake is a pale sheet under the moon and every branch is loaded, and it is honestly a beautiful place to be working. The reward is arriving at a camp road that was impassable at midnight and leaving it plain and open by breakfast. Somebody gets to make it home, or make it out, without a second thought.
