About Dave Brown Stone LLC

The Susquehanna makes a wide, slow bend below Wilmot Township, and morning mist off the water hangs in the hollows until the sun clears the ridge. Dave Brown Stone LLC keeps lawns in that Endless Mountains country, mowing yards carved out of steep wooded ground, trimming the edges where grass gives way to fern and stone, and clearing the leaves that come down thick every October. Grass grows differently here, shaded half the day and open to river light the rest, and cutting it well means knowing the ground. A mown clearing above the river is a fine thing to look back at from the truck. Around Sugar Run and Laceyville, keeping that up is the job.
