About Schuster Landscaping

Out past Kutztown the farm lanes run between bank barns with hex signs painted on the boards, and February makes those lanes a serious matter. Schuster Landscaping plows them — long driveways, turnarounds wide enough for a feed truck, the walk to the porch door cleared and treated. Drifting is the local hazard: an open field with a west wind will refill a lane an hour after it is cut, so you come back and cut it again. The reward is small and specific — a farmyard opened up at first light, the snow stacked where it will not be in the way come thaw. Snow removal here means knowing which stretch of road always closes first, and being there before it does.
