About Alt-Imate Tree Service LLC

The Allegheny slides past Kittanning wide and slow, and on October mornings the fog off it climbs halfway up the hill before the sun burns through. Alt-Imate Tree Service LLC works both sides of that river — tree removal on the bank lots and the steep streets above them, tree trimming to hold a silver maple back off a porch roof, pruning on the still days between storms. River-valley wind has a way of finding the one tree with a bad union, and after a night of it there is storm damage cleanup to do: the limb off the car, the branches hauled off, the yard back to grass. It is loud, honest, satisfying work, and the quiet afterward is the part worth staying for.
