About Green Scene Landscaping & Fertilizing

Grass in this part of Pennsylvania grows fastest in the week after a warm rain, when the hollows hold mist until midmorning and the hayfields go a green that almost hums. Green Scene Landscaping & Fertilizing works those weeks around King with a mower deck set true and a plan for the feeding that follows. Mowing, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanups and lawn fertilizing — the ordinary rounds that turn a patchy yard into something even, dense and dark underfoot. A finished lawn at dusk, the stripes running level to the fence line and the clippings swept off the walk, is the part of the day worth standing still for. Around King and the surrounding farm roads and crossroads settlements, that is the whole ambition: a yard that reads tended from the road and feels good barefoot.
