accents of nature

About accents of nature

Under snow a garden shows its bones — the curve of a bed, the line of a shrub row, the path you laid last spring reduced to a soft white ribbon. accents of nature turns that ribbon back into a path, moving snow off walks, steps and drives across Kennett Township without shaving the edging or crowding the plantings. Piles go where the melt will drain away from the beds instead of standing in them. Ice is treated with a light touch near anything growing, and the drive is opened wide enough to turn without a three-point struggle. By the time the light comes over the tree line the garden is still a garden — and now you can walk through it.
