April along the Red Clay Creek comes up all at once south of Kennett Square — one week bare, the next week everything green and reaching. Terrabloom Landscapes LLC begins the season right there with cleanups, cutting back what winter left and giving the beds a defined edge before the first mowing. From then on it is weekly work: mowing, trimming, edging, and holding the lines steady as growth accelerates through May and June. A lawn brought properly out of winter carries the rest of the year largely on its own. Kennett Square and the surrounding Brandywine Valley communities are where the season is spent.
