About Leatherneck Contracting LLC

By three in the morning the ridges above Wilcox are silent, and the only light moving on Route 219 belongs to a plow. Leatherneck Contracting LLC works those hours across Jones township, opening driveways and lots while Elk County sleeps under a foot of new snow. The high country collects weather the valleys never see: squalls that come out of the forest without warning, drifts that rebuild themselves against a barn wall before dawn. Plowing, shoveling and salting are what the job comes down to, done well enough that a truck backs out at six without a moment's hesitation. The reward is plain — a black driveway, a clean apron at the road, headlights swinging out into the dark.
